Edited electoral roll

LocateGB provides searchable access to the edited electoral roll records.

The edited electoral roll also known as the edited voters roll comprises a listing of names and addresses of persons entitled to vote in the UK. The edited version of the register only contains those persons who have consented to appear in the edited register.

The edited electoral roll is compiled each year and all eligible adults are required to register (although they may specify that they do not want their details to appear in the edited Register)

Searchable by using just a name or an address, LocateGB will return a list of matches providing at least the persons name and registered address provided they have not opted out of publication.

We are currently holding around 250 million records across our various databases. You are provided access to all of this data within your subscription package. We also provide supplemental information (where available) providing an indication of time at address, year of birth and comparable house prices.

At present, we provide the edited electoral roll from 2004 through to 2014. Increasing numbers of people are opting out of electoral roll publication but with 350 million historic records available to search, our customers enjoy a high level of success searching our records. If you cannot find a particular person then either they have chosen not to register or have opted out of publication to the edited electoral roll.

Susbscriptions are all time limited according to the package you purchase. However, we do not offer recurring subscriptions or regular rebilling. We offer susbcription periods starting from 7 days through to 1 year.

In addition to voters roll data from 2004 to 2014, we also provide you access to births, deaths and marriages records for England & Wales from 1984 through to 2005.

We also provide details of Company Directors and Company registrations.

House prices for England, Scotland and Wales are provided from the year 2000 onwards and are updated monthly.

The results are drawn from the edited electoral roll in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 and as such, certain individuals may have opted not to allow their details to be published. Similarly, certain individuals may have chosen not to register. Upon purchase of a subscription, the information is made available to you immediately upon screen. As such, and in accordance with distance selling regulations covering electronic access and download, there is no cooling off period or right of cancellation.
